Layering Basics – Forest

Most hunters will wear all their gear for the short walk to the tree stand. Depending on the day, walking in can generate considerable heat and moisture; that’s why proper layering is important. The right layers keep hunters comfortable and protected during long periods of immobility in cold, wet conditions.
