   GORE™ OPTIFADE™ Concealment Open Country pattern is currently available on Sitka®’s entire system of performance hunting gear, as well as best-selling models of brand bows, Octane® accessories, and G5® brand sights and rests.

   For the 2010 season, the following will feature GORE™ OPTIFADE™ Concealment Forest pattern:

   • Sitka®'s entire system of performance hunting gear
   • You may also request the pattern on best-selling models of Octane® accessories
   • G5® brand sights and rests

2. Why is GORE™ OPTIFADE™ Concealment only available on certain gear?

   W.L. Gore & Associates is selective about the companies to which it will license GORE™ OPTIFADE™ Concealment. Our partners, including Sitka® and G5® demonstrate an ongoing commitment to pushing the boundaries of traditional gear and creating outcome-based technologies for the serious hunter.

3. Aside from the concealment pattern, how is the new Sitka® gear for whitetail hunting different from Open County gear?

   Sitka® designed its new forest system of gear to address the specific challenges of hunting in a forest environment, which often requires hunters to endure long sedentary periods in adverse conditions, including extreme cold and precipitation.

   In active cold-weather hunts, there is an expected level of exertion and heat generation from the hunter, and Sitka®’s Open Country gear is suited to his needs. The Forest Gear provides ultimate warmth and comfort in severe cold even when a hunter needs to remain still. For instance, the Incinerator™ jacket and bib are a unique combination of down and a quiet, waterproof, breathable GORE-TEX® laminate. 5. Can I get the GORE™ OPTIFADE™ Concealment pattern on other products – like tire covers, bedding or baby clothing to show my passion for the outdoors?

   No. GORE™ OPTIFADE™ Concealment won’t be licensed for products that are not designed to improve our hunters’ outcomes in the field and be visible during the hunt. GORE™ OPTIFADE™ Concealment is not about fashion – it is all about function.
