Profile

  • Residence: Alaska... moving to Bozeman, Montana in summer 2010
  • Number of days spent afield: 80

  • Hunter ethics: Adopting an ethical code will naturally bring you greater satisfaction in what you do. As time goes by, and as an ethical code is exercised, it will grow stronger and "higher." This is what we should all aspire to do.
~From Pope and Young Code of Ethics
  • Off-season interests: Rock climbing, skiing, backpacking and fly fishing
  • Favorite book: "Endurance: Shackleton's Incredible Voyage" by Alfred Lansing
  • Favorite quote: "Luck is when preparation and hard work meet opportunity. The more you prepare and the harder you work, the more opportunity you will have."
    ~My grandfather
  • Favorite place in the world: Alaska above tree line
  • Some background: I was born and raised in Montana, moved to Alaska 12 years ago.
